B.Pharma | The candidates must pass the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE). (https://www.wbjeeb.in/) The candidate must be an Indian national who has successfully completed the H.S. (10+2) or an equivalent test from a recognized Council or Board in the regular class style. The applicant must be at least 17 years old on December 31 of the admissions year. There is no maximum age. Physics and Chemistry are required disciplines, along with Mathematics, Biotechnology, and Biology. Individual pass marks (theoretical and practical independently) are required. Pass the specified qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary (10+2) with a minimum of 40% marks (for all categories of candidates) in English and with a minimum of 45% marks in the aforementioned subjects combined (40% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC). The WBJEE must be passed in the admission year in order for a candidate to be admitted to a B. Pharm. college. If a candidate passes the relevant exams from a board other than the WBCHSE or a university other than the WBUHS, they will need to present a migration certificate. The candidate's provisional admission will be automatically revoked if the certificate is not provided by the deadline set by the university.Candidates from the Reserved Categories (SC/ ST/ PWD/ OBC) must have a residential or domicile certificate in order to enroll in a pharmacy program. B.Pharma Lateral | Candidates who have either completed a pharmacy diploma program from any polytechnic or institute with a minimum overall grade point average of 50% (45% for reserved category) are eligible for admission through lateral entry to the second year (3rd semester level) of the undergraduate degree program offered by Haldia Institute of Pharmacy. The applicant must have a current JELET rank in the admissions year. | 3 Years |
D.Pharma | The applicant must be a citizen of India and must have passed the H.S. (10+2) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Council/Board in the regular class method. The minimum age requirement for applicants is 17 as of December 31 of the admission year. No age restriction applies. Mathematics, Biotechnology, Biology, and Physics are all required topics. Individual pass marks (theoretical and practical independently) are also required. The applicant will be in excellent physical and mental health. For admission to the pharmacy program, candidates from the Reserved Categories (SC/ ST/ PWD/ OBC) must have a residential or domicile certificate. | 2 Years |
