At the helm of JAGANNATH GUPTA INSTITUTE OF PHARMACY, our Vice Chairman brings a visionary outlook to medical education. With a deep understanding of the evolving healthcare landscape, Dr Gupta is committed to embracing innovation, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and adapting curricula to meet the dynamic needs of modern medicine. Under his guidance, our institution has seen significant advancements in teaching methodologies, technology integration, and research initiatives.

Dr Gupta is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Penn State College of Medicine, PA, USA and a Consultant Physician at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, PA, USA. After earning his MBBS in India and his MD abroad from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, USA, and having worked at multispecialty hospitals such as the Trinity Medical Center and Medanta Medicity, his experience of over 18 years in the medical field has made significant contributions to medical research, clinical practice, and education. At Medanta, Dr Gupta led a special team of highly skilled physicians and personally oversaw the health of prominent social activist, Anna Hazare, during the 2011 anti-corruption movement in New Delhi.

In addition to his MD, Dr Gupta holds a Diplomate American Board of Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Clinical & Non-invasive Cardiology (FNIC). His unique set of medical and leadership skills both in India and USA, positioned him to identify challenges and opportunities in the Indian medical landscape and leverage global medical advances and enhancements, to establish a new and improved operational model at JIMSH. He is dedicated to bringing these medical advancements and innovative ideas back to his homeland for a rich amalgamation of both worlds, to maintain the best standards of education and medical care for the benefit of our patients and the community.

Known for his approachable demeanor and genuine concern for student welfare, our Vice Chairman places a strong emphasis on the well-being and development of our learners. He actively engages with students, encouraging open dialogue, and providing mentorship that extends beyond the classroom. Through various student support initiatives, our Vice Chairman ensures that learners have access to the resources they need to excel academically and personally.
