DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SURGERY

OVERVIEW

This field has been revolutionized by cutting edge techniques that makes surgery painless both pre and post-operation. We at JIMSH believe that clinical observation and practice shape the skills of their students.

The department provides emergency care for traumatic and non-traumatic emergencies round the clock.   

The department provides for consultation and care of patients suffering from chronic wounds and patients with chronic venous insufficiency, patients with benign and malignant diseases.

OPD SERVICES

• * OPD services being provided daily from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm.
• * Patients are thoroughly examined and proper advice is given
• * Those patients who need admissions are admitted and treated.
• * Emergency services 24 hours
• * Dressings, minor OT procedures, follow-up of patients are minimal costs

IPD SERVICES

The department has 90 beds divided into three medical Units functioning for both the OPD as well as IPD. Other than general surgeries, we at JIMSH also perform GI Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery, Oncological Surgery as well as HPB Surgeries.
