Mandate & Objectives

The Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) of Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences & Hospital is constituted in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. The committee provides an accessible, fair, and confidential redressal mechanism for all female employees, students, faculty, and clinical staff.

  • To prevent discrimination and sexual harassment against women by promoting gender equity across the institute.
  • To ensure a secure, respectful, and dignified work and study environment for all women associated with JIMSH.
  • To conduct formal, unbiased, and time-bound inquiries into complaints filed with the committee in strict adherence to principles of natural justice.
  • To maintain absolute confidentiality of proceedings, complainant records, and witness statements.
  • To recommend appropriate corrective, disciplinary, and preventative actions to the institutional administration.
