We are a diverse group comprising of academic faculty, clinicians, scientists, researchers, postgraduate and DM trainees, research and doctoral fellows and technical and administrative staff united in our common goal of improving the health of all new-borns, children and adolescents.
Paediatrics tunes a student's medical skills towards the health of infants, children and adolescents, their growth and development, and their opportunity to achieve full potential as adults. Paediatricians who care for the young are also concerned with social and environmental influences along with the health and well-being of children and their families.
The young are often the most vulnerable in society and so their needs require special attention. With this in mind, Paediatricians at JIMSH provide child healthcare with utmost care and affection, especially to the poor and needy belonging to the surrounding 80 and odd villages.
