It is the dream of Sri Jagannath Gupta, a well-known figure in the oil refining industry, who has been associated with a number of philanthropic causes in and around Kolkata. Although a charitable trust, UDJGCT trustees are drawn from eminent members of society and include professionals and social activists. Its role is to oversee JIMSH like a deep-rooted banyan tree, a symbol of consistency, strength, and firmness.
