DM CARDIOLOGY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Academic Qualifications

Candidates are required to possess one of the following postgraduate degrees:

• MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in:
  • General Medicine
  • Paediatrics

• Equivalent Qualifications: Any other degree recognized as equivalent by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

2. Entrance Examination

• Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must appear for and qualify the NEET-SS (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Super Specialty).
• Scope: This is a centralized examination conducted at the national level.

3. Admission Process

The selection process is strictly regulated to ensure fairness:

Merit-Based Selection: Admission is granted based solely on the merit rank obtained in the NEET-SS examination, followed by the subsequent centralized counselling process.
